About the Doc.....

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, from High Point University, where I also served in the Psychology Laboratory, as well as a research assistant to one of HPU's leading Psychology Professors. While there, I was inducted into Psi Chi, The National Honors Society in Psychology. I graduated Cum Laude. I went on to obtain my Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of NC- Charlotte, where I graduated with a Clinical Focus, with Highest Honors. I then went on to obtain my Doctorate in Behavioral Health-Clinical Focus, where I was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, The National Honors Society, before graduating with Highest Honors. I spent many years as a forensic child abuse investigative unit supervisor, as well as working to build and supervise a Hospice and Kid's Path Hospice Program and Clinical Social Worker and Abuse Consultant for one of the State's largest School Systems. I am currently an adjunct Professor for 3 Universities. My passion however, is my practice here at Davidson Behavioral Health & Psychotherapy. I currently hold credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker,  a Certified Child Custody Evaluator, a Registered Child Custody Evaluator, a Nationally Certified Child Custody Evaluator and as a Nationally Certified Parenting Coordinator Associate.
